Suze Stiphout (Venray, 1970)

Double Bass player Suze Stiphout started to play the bass at the age of 16. She studied classical music at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, where she graduated in 1997.
She plays in numerous orchestra's and (chamber music) ensembles. She played in New York, Italy, Switzerland, France and Hungary and performed on several CD's.
After her study she focussed on improvised music. She studied with Ulli Glasmann and Phillip Aerts.
She plays with the tango trio 'Vita Lyda' and the latin-jazz ensemble 'Adios Lola'.
