Menno de Bruin (drums)

Menno de Bruin studied classical and improvised music at the Rotterdam conservatory. He graduated in 1995. He also graduated from The Collective in New York, where he was trained by Kim Plainfield, Ricky Sebastian and Adam Nussbaum.

During his study, he collaborated in several musicals and shows, including Funny Girl, Evita and You're the Top. He also accompanied dance performances at different dance acadamies.

The many different experiences Menno de Bruin has obtained, return in his playing. Especially the classical and multi cultural aspects have been of great imfluence. Triosonic keeps searching for new challenges; the large variety of dynamic and rhythmic possiblities of the drums play an important part in this.
